This adaptive reuse project with The Richman Group converts a 1950’s supermarket into multi-family housing. During the initial stages, Staples Construction discovered numerous “surprise” empty spaces that had been bricked-over as well as un-expected structural modifications.

These discoveries led to almost the entire re-design of the project to ensure the final project was safe, attractive, and made full use of the newly-discovered spaces and structural elements.

The existing building features vintage Googie styling in the Space Age fins over the entry, and matches some of the other nearby commercial buildings.
