Monterey County Sheriff's Office breaks ground on new Re-entry Resource Center

On April 8, 2025, the Monterey County Sheriff's Office broke ground on its new Re-entry Resource Center, the county's one-stop shop to support those transitioning from jail into society. The sheriff's office hopes this center will help formerly incarcerated people transition to successfully find stable jobs, avoid homelessness, and improve their overall health and well-being.

And gives the individuals it serves a true opportunity to succeed and be members of the community.
