We are happy to announce that the Whizin Market Square in Agoura Hills, CA is now LEED-Certified!

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a certification program for building environmentally-friendly, or “green” structures.  It’s based on a points system; the more points you earn with your construction efforts, the higher your LEED rating.

Staples Construction earned 25 points on the Whizin project, by using:

  • Green building materials
  • Green power purchases
  • Water efficiency
  • Innovative designs

Whizin Market Square is a shopping center in the Calabasas/Westlake Village Submarket of Agoura Hills.  The total project size was 32,650 square feet.  The Staples team completed construction in June 2014.

A LEED-Certified project is a notable distinction.  From everyone at Staples Construction, thank you U.S. Green Building Council!
